Chapter 99
VIOLET
“ I am hungry. ” I tell Wolf after a long pause.
He pulls away and slides my hair behind my ears. “ Do you want me to go get you something to eat? ”
I shake my head. “ Help me up. I want to go myself. ”Wolf gives me an unsure look before he gets up and holds my hands, helping me to my feet. My head is beginning to pound with a strong headache and it spins just as I place my feet on the cold floor. I wear the slippers placed beside the bed while I feel dizzy.
I look down at my clothes and find myself wearing a pink floral dress this time. It reaches down to my knees, leaving my lower legs bare.
My hands appear clean and so do my hair.
Shivers creep up my spine, making me grit my teeth.
It takes me a moment to finally stand on my feet without feeling like I might lose my balance and fall on the floor, breaking my nose in the way.
