I shake my head, drawing my attention back to the argument.
“ Humans found out about the presence of a supernatural race. Werewolves…” Wolf rolls his shoulders. “ they found out about us, Violet.”
“ And they started hunting us down. ” He sighs, sounding tired to me.
My eyebrows pull together to form a deep frown.
“ Humans could only fear werewolves. Why did it matter that they found out about you all? ” I roll my eyes.
Now, I feel less uncomfortable as compared to how I felt when I came inside his office. Wolf hasn’t done anything to tick me off and his eyes remain at my face, reminding me less about what has conspired between us.
