WOLF
“ I want to talk to you. ” Violet says and then walks inside my office.
‘ Did any of you say something to her? ’ I growl down the mind—link with my brothers.
‘ No. ’ Only Cassius and Kane reply while Stefan remains silent.
‘ Stefan? ’ I call him out.
‘ No. ’ He groans in frustration.
I block the mind—link and pay attention to Violet.
I can only guess what she wants to talk about right now.
I follow her with my eyes. Violet’s heart is beating fast, her heartbeat thumping in my ears, making me feel guilty all over again. The scent of her fear and nervousness is another bad thing about this situation.
Deep down, I never wanted her to fear me, to hate me but it was impossible. She hated me even before knowing me and now she has a valid reason for hating me.
