“ What does this make me? A human who has lost her mind? ” I scoff and look back at the pond.
“ Confused. ” She hums after a long time.

Her words grab my attention and compel me to look at her with interest. She is still not looking at me but her tone is soft and thoughtful while her smile has left her lips.
