VIOLET
The expressions of anger wipe off his face pretty fast and it leaves me shocked instead of him this time.
We stare at each other, different emotions and thoughts running through our minds. I can see it all in his eyes — the wheels of rationality turning and making him calm down.
Without saying a word to me, Elias turns around on his heels and begins to walk away.
This leaves me breathless and angry instead of him. Just a moment ago, I thought Elias would be very angry, that he would fight, that he would at least throw a pathetic tantrum but he just…turned around and…left.
I don’t know what hurts me more. The fact that he got to know about something like this happening to me or the fact that he just left and didn’t do anything.
‘ What can he possibly do? ’ A voice whispers in my mind.
