The sun shone down on the grand exterior of Evelyn's maternal home, the luxurious villa of the Rockefellers, nestled in the heart of the city. As she walked towards the front door, Evelyn was greeted warmly by the servants who had been with her family for years.

"Welcome back, our young lady. It's good to have you home," greeted the head butler with a smile.

Evelyn returned the smile, feeling comforted by the warm reception. "Thank you. It feels good to be home."

As she stepped into the foyer, Evelyn was greeted by Freya, the housekeeper, who approached her with a smile. They exchanged a few words.

"Ms. Freya, where is Dad?" asked Evelyn, sensing the hesitation in the other woman's demeanor.

"Sir is currently in his study. He is... in a bad mood," replied Freya, her expression reflecting her unease.

"I see. Please inform him that I'm waiting for him in the living room," said Evelyn, trying to keep her tone steady. "Thank you, Freya."
