LAVINIA'S POV

I woke up in a pitch black place.

The air smelled of blood and piss.

I had never found darkness as chilling as I did at this moment. I tried to move and realized that I was naked and chained to a platform. The chains were thick and surrounded my body, pinning me down completely.

Fear like never before coursed through me. Has Rylan gotten a hold of me again?

It takes a few deep breaths and Isis's reassuring words to calm me down. I take a moment to recall everything and the last thing I remember is being shot down by Vampires…….

So does that mean that I'm in the custody of Vampires?!

I barely have any time to think or fret as I hear heavy footsteps approaching my way. I still, my breath hitching in my throat as goosebumps envelope my skin.

Three men come into the room holding lamps and I'm finally able to study my surroundings.

I'm in a dark large space that resembles a dungeon of some kind, I notice a few bondage contraptions on the wall and a shiver runs down my spine.
