"What did I miss?"

I approached Micah as soon as I saw her walking to the main gate. I looked down, but it was too late as a lot of students already saw me.

"No, what did I miss?" She repeated the questions. "What happened to you? You were gone for a week. And, what about the kids?" She continued asking, almost panicking. "We thought you were all dead after that incident. You weren't answering your phone!"

"Calm down, Micah." I held her. "You are getting too much attention, okay? I'm sorry. A lot of things happened and I lost my phone so..." I sighed. "It's hard to explain."

"What do you mean it's hard to explain? You will just tell me what happened? Who is the suspect? Why did it burn? Is it true that it's an accident or is it about the wild creatures?"
