KLAY ROSE

I sat in the corner of the small, dark room, feeling hopeless and defeated. Trevor had been holding me hostage for what seemed like forever, and I had no idea if anyone was looking for me. I tried to stay strong and keep my head up, but with each passing day, my hope began to fade.

Trevor would come in every so often to check on me and offer me food and water, but I never accepted it. I couldn't bring myself to eat or drink anything that he offered me, knowing that it was all part of his plan to keep me weak and submissive.

As I sat there, I heard footsteps outside the door, and my heart began to race with excitement and fear. Could it be someone coming to save me? Or was it just Trevor coming to taunt me again?

The door creaked open, and my heart sank as Trevor walked in with a smug grin on his face. "No one's coming for you, Klay," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "You're all alone, and you always will be."

I gritted my teeth and glared at him, refusing to let him
