Chapter 48

KLAY ROSE

I woke up to the sound of urgent knocking on the door. I groggily made my way to the door and opened it to see Micah's worried face. "Klay, the kids and the sisters are being attacked by werewolves!" she said, panting.

My heart sank at her words. "What?! Where? Are they okay?" I asked, my mind racing.

"They're at the abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. We need to go now," she said, pulling me towards the door.

I quickly got dressed and Rozen joined us as we hurried towards the warehouse. As we got closer, I could hear the sounds of a struggle and my heart started pounding in my chest. I ran towards the entrance and saw the sisters and the kids huddled in a corner, with a group of werewolves surrounding them.

I didn't hesitate and charged towards them, my powers flaring up. Rozen was right behind me, and together we took on the werewolves, trying to protect the innocent ones.
