"I'm fired?" The security man said, his voice rising in panic. "No, you can't fire me! Please, I need this job! I have a family to take care of!"

Mrs. Anderson rushed to the scene, her face flushed with concern.

"Tamer!" she said. "What's going on here? What's this all about?"

Mrs. Anderson was referring to the man that had just appeared in the scene, trying to defend Avery. It turned out that Mrs.Anderson was well aware of who the man was.
