His departure

She walked into the room with her hair falling over her shoulders. Looking at the bed, she could see Kelvin holding her phone.

"I've got a call?" She asked anxiously, walking to the bed.

"Um..no..not really," he lied, dropping the phone on the bed.

She made a surprised face with her lips pursed.

"You didn't shower?" He asked, standing up from the bed.

She sighed and picked up her phone from the bed. She checked for missed calls but she saw none.

She became disappointed seeing that Amos hadn't returned her call. Heaving a sigh of relief, she sat on the bed slowly.

She could hear his phone ringing on the bed and she turned. Her eyes fell on the screen and she frowned at the caller ID.

He rushed over to the bed to pick up the phone and she watched in anticipation for what he was about to do.

He stood with the phone still ringing in his hands.

"Kemi?" She asked with a deep frown.

"Um..yeah..," he stammered.

"Pick up!" She yelled.

"It doesn't matter, baby. I guess she's calling to congratu
