Chapter 22

Walking into the class with Jen and Selena I see Chase is sat at one of the tables in the middle of the classroom. I smile in his direction and his face is unreadable I don’t like not being able to read his face and he just head nods at me. The smile drops from my face as quickly as it was on it feels like he’s now being distant with me because of what happened last night between us and this morning between him and Candace. Not thinking much of his action, I take a seat close to Jen and Selena taking out my notebook and my philosophy book.

The girls were not kidding when they said how hard Mr. Waterston is for an older gentleman, he can be quite scary. With short grey hair, he does remind me of my grandpa, but Mr. Waterston is much better dressed. The lesson is about the differences between free will and fate. I thought they were connected, and Mr. Waterston proved me wrong.

Didn't Chase not realize she was singing that song to him. I know that Savanna thought her music was fate, but not Chase. Savanna and Chase are fated mated whether she realizes it or not yet.
