Chapter 27

Sometimes just like today, I wish the weekend was longer. It flew by in a blink of an eye. I kept to my word by keeping myself busy with unpacking and losing myself in my music. I can say that now I am all moved in and everything in my room is unboxed I feel a lot more settled into my new home.

I moved a few things around with Dad’s help and readjusted some little things, but I am now happy with the layout of the room I can call mine until I start college. Speaking of college my dad and I sat down together most of Saturday afternoon to early evening looking through colleges with the best music programs. Together we found two great schools and there’s something ironic about doing my research. I am now left with a choice the same as my dad made. Go back home to North Carolina to attend Wake Forrest University or stay here in California and attend Berkeley University.
