Chapter 47

Landing at LAX I exit the plane and make my way through baggage claim straight through to arrivals not knowing who is gonna be there. Opening the door to arrivals I look around to see if I can see a familiar face. No luck just yet so I keep walking to see If they are closer to the main exit of the airport. I kept looking around to see if anyone was there, not seeing anyone I hear someone call my name.

I turn around to see Chase running towards me. He swoops me up in a bear hug and spins me around. I can’t stop the smile on my face with how Chase has greeted me.

“No, it’s just me your dad got caught up at the office and he asked me if I could pick you up and take you back to the office with me.”
