“Don’t even think of biting me out of spite or the girl dies.” Gavrael warned me sternly.

It was as if he had known what I was thinking about just seconds ago. I suddenly realised something. Although Gavrael had just spoken my thoughts, it must just be a guess. Maybe my intentions to harm him had been written on my face, or he had just felt my brief bout of violence. But there was no way he had actually heard my thoughts because if he had, there would have been no need to warn me not to bite him. My last thought was that I wouldn’t bite him because I knew he would punish someone else that was close to me for it. Why would he still warn me if he had heard me think about this last?
