More tests were run by the doctors and I was given feedback on the toxins that were shot at Ryder. How could anyone be so evil to do that to him?

The doctor called me into his office. Restlessly I walked in there, asking Delphi to stay behind. If there was any news I wanted to hear about Ryder, I would hear it alone.

"How is he fairing?" I asked the doctor.

"Pretty bad. Not much physical harm, but mentally maybe."

"What do you mean mentally? It was silver, right? It should be physical harm. Any shrinkage?"

"It was a bullet, with silver and wolfsbane. That is three Mrs. Wolfcup"

"So how does that affect him mentally?"

"Not more than what you can handle. I just needed to tell you in case he behaves strangely"

"Strange?"

"After he is discharged in a few days. He would show an unfriendly attitude. Adhere to his words and everything will go fine in time"

"I do not understand" Tears rolled down my eyes.

"What I mean is, just like a lady wolf when pregnant, showing both
