Three Days later

When Peter and Melissa arrived at the hospital, I ran to hug them both tightly. I stayed in their arm for some time before I released our hug with tears in my eyes.

"I'm so glad you guys are here," I said.

"We are sorry Mrs. Wolfcup. We were expected to arrive earlier before you both, but our flight was canceled. Please forgive us" Peter apologized, concern all over his face. I do not think he had ever left his boss alone for such an amount of time. Certainly, he was regretting his vacation by now.

"Don't speak like that. No one knew this. Ryder and protect himself also, we were all caught unaware"

"Luckily" I sighed and smiled. "I was finally allowed to see him at the hospital yesterday, I hugged him and felt his warm, and he served fine to me, he was still unconscious though, but the doctor said he fully responded today and we can take him with us."
