Chapter 26

Elisha was hoping to end Damon's life as quickly as possible; he had no intention right from the beginning to present him before the council of the Red Blood to judge he wanted to end everything right here so he went for the killer blow. A fast dagger-like hand aimed at Damon's chest with the intention of ripping through flesh and bones so as to pluck out his heart...but Damon caught hold of his hand right before they touched his chest.

“Huh," there was this surprised look on Elisha's face as Damon caught hold of his hand and both men's eyes locked in a very brief but intense staring contest.

“Ahhhh!" Two of Elisha's men attacked Damon from the side as well as the back and that made Damon let go of Elisha's hand to deal with his new attackers.

Waving a series of deadly punches thrown at him so flawlessly with elegance Damon gave a reply to them in kind but there was no dodging his deadly punches on their parts.
