“Thank you for the ride, Professor." I thank Professor Collins sincerely as I alighted down from his vehicle parked in front of my house

“It's nothing. Should I walk you to your door?" He asked, making an attempt to come down from his vehicle.

“No, no. That won't be necessary, thank you. You have already done more than enough for me today sir," I said and he nodded.

“Alright then. Stay safe and we will see tomorrow in school," he said and I smiled warmly at him.

“Thank you, drive safe professor." I greeted goodbye and he nodded before driving off.

Exhaling, I walked into my apartment.

While inside my apartment I took off my shoes to feel more relaxed and I started reminiscing about the event that took place as I sat on the sofa. How I stupidly went out in the middle of the night to search for Damon and how I also stupidly thought I could be a hero and save that lady from those two men.
