Chapter 35

“Damon...Damon...Damon.." I called out after 30 minutes of getting to the spot without seeing him.

I was hoping he would respond to my calls and come out...but he never did and I felt hopeless and heartbroken. I waited for another 30 minutes, calling out his name some more but it was the same thing so I headed back home with a grieved spirit.

Has he left Lake Hill? Won't I be seeing him again? So many heart breaking questions kept popping in my head as I made the long journey back home but the night suddenly became cold and I found myself wrapping my body with my arms for warmth but it wasn't really enough. I should have worn something much thicker than this, I thought as I glanced at the light fabric top I was putting on. The cold was becoming too much, it's not even winter but it's freezing out here. Does it want to rain? I don't plan to stay out here to find out so I quicken my steps however as I walked past a street something caught my attention by the corner.
