CHAPTER 49: MATING FESTIVAL

LILITH’S POV:

The street is packed with more than the usual amount of people who are more lively than ever with a few new stands erected specifically for the musical.

New stands, with more than enough snacks and food to eat, are erected around, while everything goes down, and a few games to play as well.

Now that the day is almost over, it’s as though the entire streets have come to life.

It almost as though a carnival has come into town for the day.

I myself wait patiently while Ivan is at work, carefully holding the stick made of hard paper as he rolls the cotton candy until it’s a perfect large ball.

I can already feel my mouth watering.

“Here you go.” He hands me my cotton candy and I grab it from his hands, taking a bite and moan from the deliciousness.

Initially, I had thought coming out for the festival today would have been a burst, seeing as after putting Ivan and Ariel together I’d be alone, but now I don’t think so.
