CHAPTER 54: UNSTABLE MAN

KAIN’S POV

I tap my finger against the hard mahogany wood of my desk incessantly, deep in thought and trying to figure out the current situation.

I’m unable to fully focus on the logical side of things every time she comes into my line of vision. It’s as though my thoughts are jumbled by a senseless feeling of rage, yet I can’t do anything about it.

The person in question walks sround my office, staring at every trinket and antique curiously, not holding back from touching everything and shifting them out of its place and more to my uneasiness.

She herself is an anomaly standing in everything I’ve created and built for the past 13 years.

“I see you’ve upgraded Father’s office with a few of your toys.” She speaks after minutes of silence, starting off without explaining why she’s here or what she needs yet.

I groan at the thought of that man. An unreasonable amount of displeasure swells within me.
