I should have listened to Patricia, I should have listened to myself when I wanted to resign. I should have accepted the CEOs offer to willingly sign my resignation letter.

At least that would have saved me the years worth of embarrassment and humiliation that I had suffered at the hands of Selena in this past week.

She wanted me to be at the office by six am, apparently that was when the coffee shop that she loved opened and she wanted to get the first cup of coffee.

As if that was not enough, the weekends weren't mine. I had to come into the office and get things prepared for Monday.

I was supposed to remind her of her meetings thirty minutes, twenty minutes, ten and five minutes before the scheduled time. I wasn't supposed to leave the office before her even though it was after office hours.

And even when she left, she gave me documents to file and go through, pointing out how a single missing punctuation could ruin it so I had to do it again.
