I stood before the CEO, staring him dead in the eye while my heart and insides were shaking to death. He was giving me a death glare, one that would make me melt if not for the fact that there was a lady sitting in front of him.

She has given me a once over when I first walked in, it wasn't a very nice look though. I could see that she was tall even while she sat, her long legs poked out of her short skirt and she constantly flipped her blonde hair out of the way as it often clouded her vision as she moved.

He was still waiting for an answer. This is something I had gone over and over on my own, thinking whether I should choose the demotion.
