I exhaled tiredly as I got to my last stop, the ice cream shop. I have been to the store and got her every single flavour of chips and Cheetos. Then I went to Mc Donald's and got her some food. Right now, I am at the ice cream shop.
"Good evening. What would you like to have please?" The young boy beging the counter asked me as soon as I got to him, he looked bored.
"Uh, can I have the largest ice cream you have?"
"Flavour?"
"Vanilla."
"That would be 3dollars and 15 cents."
I brought out my wallet from my back pocket and then paid the boy as I collected the ice cream.
"Thank you." I gave him a small smile and then made my way outside the ice cream shop. I started the car engine, picked up my phone from the passenger's seat to check if Maria has replied to my texts but it only brought out seen.
