A lot of weird things had happened to me in the past couple of months. But this? What was happening at the moment was just top notch weird.

Carlos kept looking at his watch, tapping his foot against the floor of the restaurant we were in impatiently. I was seated across him trying to look at anything but him.

Half an hour gone and Kendalla Vasquez hadn't shown. Was it bad that I wished she actually stood him up? If she showed, everything would just be weird.

"I hate tardiness",Carlos said between gritted teeth and believe me, I knew how much he hated people being late on him.

Roughly minutes, Kendalla showed up and true to the magazine covers she was as beautiful as ever, dressed for the occasion and certainly dressed to impress.

"Carlos!" She squealed getting attention from the people around us.

"Kendall",Carlos stood to hug her back kissing her cheek.

I couldn't tell whether he forgot her name or calling her Kendall was part of the 'giving your date a cute nickname'.
