For weeks on end, Hugo was on tender hooks; Sarai and him had numerous fights and arguments about her security measures, his family was questioning him on his financial status and where he was living; his mother crying and fighting every day on the phone and the growing threats and loss of pack members hanging over his head; Hugo felt as if the weight of the entire world now rested upon his shoulders and he was getting crushed by the weight of it all.
