Chapter Seventy - Five

AMELIA’S POV

The days went by too quickly, in my opinion. One moment, we were just pronounced husband and wife, and the next, we’d spent nearly a month in the pretty cabin for our honeymoon. Every single moment with Maxwell filled me with pure bliss. It felt like I was walking on sunshine with my head in the clouds. If I thought I was in love with Maxwell earlier, well, I was wrong. I don’t know if it is possible, but I fell more in love with him.

We grew closer, and I was able to notice his little antics, which just made me fall more deeply in love with him. He quirked his eyebrow in an amusing way when he was deep in thought. He said he wasn’t snoring, but he made this funny whizzing sound when he was asleep. He liked to sleep on his back with his arms folded over his belly. I’d disrupted that though, choosing to curl at his side and cuddle up to him at any given moment.

I mean, that was the point to everything, wasn’t it. Keeping one another warm? Making love to him was thrilling
