Chapter Seventy -Six

AMELIA’ POV

Max led me to the rooftop of the Moon Castle. There was such an impressive balcony with chairs and even a bed that made star gazing easier. Max sprawled on the bed, and I joined him, curling next to him.

I spent the next hour just drinking in his presence close to me and the sound of his voice as he pointed out what star was what to me. He was very knowledgeable about the stars, and I found it even more endearing. The moon was exceedingly bright that night, such that in her light, I could see as plain and clear as day.

I stared at Max’s beautiful jawline and those lips that were super kissable and had to bring myself to look away. I said, “Where did you learn so much about the stars?”

“Well, there’s a subject like that in wolf high school. So, I learnt there. However, I read further beyond astronomy of high school. I was intrigued by the subject.”
