11 - Your Scent

The moment Edge arrived, a commotion started in the castle. The festivities started, and the party commenced.

Despite having an aggressive personality, I knew this was the time for me to start staying out of trouble.

It was never like I was the one who wanted to get into conflicts with Edge. He kept on testing my patience every time we came across each other. And now at this point, I just wanted to stay out of his eyesight like I don’t even exist in this world.

As I slipped back in the dining area, I noticed Beta Archer entering the hall with the alpha of our pack, Fenriz.

The crowd dispersed to engage in chats. Several groups had been formed by people to drink, cheer, laugh and gossip. From the faces, everybody appeared happy.

However, behind all those smiles most of these people just hid political gains, and shallow wishes from each other. There was nothing genuine among them.

Such an unlikeable character. I can’t find a silver lining here. She makes the most stupid decisions+complicates things for no reasons. I hope it gets better. It’s frustrating. She’s so annoying.
