This is Penelope Fox.

The one we believe is the ‘white wolf’.

The protective feeling that I already felt from the moment I first laid eyes on her comes surging back and is stronger than before.

But I must stay reserved. I don’t truly know who these people are. I look at the patrolmen and say, “They can come back to the pack house with me. Alpha Knight would want to see them.”

The men bow their heads but one of them looks up at me with a concerned look in his eyes and he says, “Luna, with all due respect, I don’t think you should be left alone. Could I accompany you to the pack house?”

I nod my head and smile softly, “Of course.”

I turn to walk back, and I can hear the patrolman, Alpha Stone, and Penelope Fox behind me. I ask the patrolman, “What’s your name?”

“Marco, Luna.” He answers me with a slight bow of his head. I smirk and shake my head, “No need to be so formal, Marco.”

“As you wish, Luna.”

I roll my eyes from his words and continue the trek back to the pack
