Trevor POV A blood curdling scream emerged from across the border line. I wasn't positive, but I was fairly certain it was Jonas, Stellas nephew. The look on her face confirmed it. Three Months Later Stella POV The leaves had fallen off all of the trees and a blanket of snow covered the forrest floor. I listened to the snow crunch underneath my paws with each step I took. Stella POV "So Alpha, why are we really here?" The words hung in the air as Trevor and I looked at each other, then back over at Sam and his mate, Emily. Trevor POVThe sun was beginning to rise as we made our way back to the house. The sun rays were peaking through the holes in the trees. A few pack guards escorted Rebecca closely. She would be speaking with me later on once I cleaned up and calmed down. If I spoke to her now, I'd slit her throat in a second. I was trying to wrap my head around the fact that one of my own pack members had tried to hurt or maybe even kill my mate. The snow crunched under my paws as the house appeared in the distance. I looked over at Stella who was walking next to me, her white fur covered in blood. Her restraint to not kill Rebecca was impressive. I would have her checked out by one of the pack doctors when we got back, just to make sure her and the babies were okay. She sustained a few injuries while we were out there but healed quickly, so I was hopeful that she would be just fine. The jail was on the other side of town from my house. Two guards and a sherrif were there, waiting for my arrival. I pulled the small sports car up into one of the parking spots and hopped out, lifting my heavy body out of the low riding car.
