Chapter 10 At The Party

Clara POV

"There is no f**king way I am going to that party with you," I tell Tricia the nth time she was holding my bag while I carried the sleeping Aria in my hand as we made our way inside her apartment.

"You have no choice Clara you are coming with me either the easy way or the hard way"

"You know, I have a night shift at work today so you have to look over Aria while I go to work so just cancel the party."

"You are skipping work today." She blurted out as if she had the right to control me.

She presses the doorbell and the door opens revealing Mrs. Flora, Tricia's mother.

"Hey Clara" Mrs. Flora walks towards me and collects Aria from me. "I will put her to bed" she mumbles and walks out.

"There is no way I am skipping work you know Mr. Blake too well he likes money and might sack me if I don't go to work"
