Chapter 126: A Dream?
"What's this about me?" Matthew asked after he silently entered the ward.
Cecilia and Rose were speechless. He had just suddenly showed up right as they were talking about him.
"Matthew."
Matthew smiled and walked closer when Rose mentioned his name.
"I was so worried about you, Rose." Matthew held Rose's shoulder.
Time stopped at that moment. Rose stared at Matthew's face that was lit by the sunlight. She could see trickles of sweat which showed that he came in a hurry.
His clothes were dirty which showed he had just come from a quest. His sword was still on his waist. He did not return to the mansion to put it away.
He had literally just returned, and headed straight here. She was so happy about that.
"Rose, are you okay?" Matthew's question broke her out of her trance.
