Matthew was sitting outside the ward on the bench outside. He’s been sitting there for almost an hour already but Rose did not move at all. She was probably asleep.
Matthew distracted himself to kill time by imagining many random scenarios in his mind. At some point, he recalled the time he took the Hunter Exam. When he fought a student who had been killing other students in the exams.
“Alan, was it?” Matthew asked himself, trying to remember the guy’s name.
“What’s wrong with Alan?” A man’s voice suddenly came from his right. There, he saw one the most powerful Hunters in the world.
“Ajax?!” Matthew stood up as he was shocked to see him.
“Relax, kid.” Ajax said as he walked closer to Matthew.
