THIRTY

Nine past forty-one P.M.

Rosie should have been done by now.

I tapped my fingers on the steering wheel along with the soft background music being played on the radio. It’s been almost half an hour and I’m still patiently waiting for a certain blonde to come out of the bar’s door.

I held my breath as I saw Rosie walked out from the metal doors. She let her wavy hair loose and quite messy, in a good way of course. She has a long brown coat and a scarf around her neck.

My foot kick the car’s door open and I jumped out so Rosie will notice my presence. It took less than ten seconds as Rosie looked up and her eyes met mine. I half-jogged to where she is, of course with a confident smile tugged on my lips. Hell, I’ve been practicing on it since I’ve made up my mind to meet her.
