ARABELLA POV

He jumped into the car. I drove into the small lane in front of me, with absolutely no destination in mind. I thought of a lot of things when the black cars behind me started a hot pursuit when they saw that I had taken them hostage. Thankfully, the windows on my cars were all tinted so they wouldn’t easily see the person behind the wheel. Matter of fact, they didn’t even need to see me as they weren’t in front of me. Now that this was a single lane with two forests at each side, we were at an advantage and also a disadvantage. First, they would follow every little step we take, and they won’t have to follow the forest—unless one of them suddenly jumps out of the car, turns into a wolf, and gives me a serious pursuit.
