Chapter 66: Hurt & Confusion

LUCAS POV

I stood still, staring at the screen of the phone. “Aren't you going to pick it? She must be waiting for your response.”

“Benny leave us alone.” I said and immediately she walked away. “What are you talking about? It's not even registered in my phone so how do you expect me to know whoever is calling?”

“It has been going on for almost a month if not more than a month Lucas have you tried making any efforts to stop the calls and messages?”

“Just give me a clue on how to stop it then maybe I'll be able to do it, what do you think?” I asked, turning on my heels.

“Yeah walk away, that's what you always do, walking,walk away.” I didn't bother replying her, just continued on my lane and walked back into the bedroom.

I dialed the number and her voice greeted me.

“Hi Lucas.” I froze a little.

“What else do you know about me?” I asked and she chuckled.

“That shouldn't be your concern, did you receive the pendant? It has our initials, L and L, isn't it lovely?”

“You're clearly insane
