Paige’s POV

“Thanks, Neo,” I smiled at him and slightly bent my body forward to thank him after closing the car’s door. He really sent me to work after we went to the hospital to check on my forehead. Luckily, I didn’t hit my head that hard.

Neo playfully saluted me. “No problem, Paige.”

I was about to leave when he cleared his throat. He looked at the Hotel Monroe before shifting his gaze back to me. “So, this is where you work?”

I nodded. “Yeah.”

“I see. Can I pay a visit some time? I wanna know what happened to you. We didn’t run into each other again for five years. You seemed to have changed a lot. I’m curious.”

I smiled and nodded at him. “Sure, Neo.”
