As the clock struck seven, I had completed all my assigned tasks for the day. Granted, they weren’t very many of them, but I was as tired as a lumberjack having spent majority of the day running up and down, attended my first meeting and then got to reading the folder that Penelope had giving me, plus getting the hang of responding to emails.

At this hour, I bet almost everyone had already left about an hour ago. I powered off the computer, put everything in order before I collected my belongings and exited Penelope’s-well, my office. Although she’d spent majority of the day helping me navigate through the company and this job I’d been newly assigned, she had said that she’d be quite scarce from now onwards.
