Hailey dragged herself from her room down to the dining table. It's been a week since her little bonding experience with Dawn, and she was grateful for that opportunity.

Dawn had been nothing but a sweetheart. She figured there was actually a sweet angel waiting to make herself known. She just needed the opportunity.

Now, they were close, her job was intact and she was living her best life in the mansion, although she could not work the energy to finish her write-up on the article on fried food and its health risks.

The unfinished work lay in her laptop, and as Dawn promised, she never told her father, or even Leo about Hailey being a former journalist. She believed her day was fine until she strode into the dinning room to see Natalie seated beside Chase.
