“We’ve found her.”

Chase was on his feet before anyone else, his heart beating wildly in his chest. ‘Finally, some good news.’ He thought but said instead. “Where is she? Is she okay? How’s the baby?”

The cop would have laughed if it had been a different situation but this was a very sensitive case. “We have found her location but we wanted to let you know first.” He said and watched as several emotions crossed Chase’s face, the most obvious ones being relief then concern.

“Where is she? Can I see her?” Dawn asked walking towards the cop. “Where is Hailey?”

“Come here little one.” Leo said and pulled Dawn away earning him a grateful smile from Chase who was looking frazzled. “Let’s go and get some juice for everyone.”

“But I want to see Hailey.”

“Come on, daddy will bring her back.” Leo said pulling her away.
