While Chase was continuously ringing Hailey, her phone was on the couch of the sitting room. She had unconsciously dropped it while waiting for some sort of reply from Chase but to no avail.

Everytime a new message came into her phone, Hailey rushed to see if it was the reply, abandoning every other thing with high emotions. After the fifth occurrence, she decided to put her phone on do not disturb mode in order to be able to get some work done.

As she became submerged in her work, Hailey totally forgot that she had previously placed her phone in total silence. In that haze she worked tirelessly until she couldn't any longer and dozed off spending the night on the couch.

The next morning, Ciara stumbled out of her room and met Hailey seated in an awkward way on the couch, the laptop was halfway down the floor, opened with the screen on and battery almost empty.

After putting the laptop in place, she headed over to a sleeping Hailey and with two successive pats, she woke her up.
