A FEW HOURS EARLIER

May woke up earlier because she wasn't able to sleep well. This is not her first time sleeping in her friend's place but she feels distant from her friend. She did not wake Kayla up. She went to the bathroom and saw the bleach on her hair is already wearing off. She decided to wash it off and get another one later.

She then took her bath, while unable to get her head off Jared. She could not stop herself from thinking about him.

'Great. Now I can't stop thinking about him.' She mocked herself.

She made herself some breakfast and left for her friend too. She did not want to wake Kayla up, she carefully left the house. She left Kayla a note so she wouldn't be worried when she woke up. She then took a cab going home. She wanted to pick more of her things and avoid her parents since it's early in the morning.

The taxi soon stopped at in front of her house. She carefully walked inside the house, expecting to run into one of her family. Especially Debra. Not that she
