Chapter 22: Tears

Amber was apparently happy as she watched the young woman in front of her. There was no doubt that she was the real Jenny. She looked at her proudly because she was now a strong woman. She didn't easily back down; she knew how to defend herself.

Jenny's face quickly returned to formal when she noticed that Amber was staring at her. "You know, your son is ugly. He’s stupid because he can easily be deceived by that fake girl!"

Instead of being angry at her for insulting her son, Amber felt happier that she was talking to her. She was the Jenny she knew, not a pretender who concealed her attitude.

Jenny pouted even more and was annoyed because the woman was laughing at her. But when she remembered their situation, she suddenly became serious. "Why aren't you angry?"
