Chapter 29: Live together

Yazed returned to his mother’s room and found Jenny sitting quietly next to Amber. She was reading a book about business. His mother remained asleep, to his surprise.

"Oh, you're already here." Jennelyn greeted the young man warmly. If she was in a different situation, she would have thrown away the book she was just holding. She didn't particularly like reading and she didn't understand anything in that book. Another thing that annoyed her was that Amber was obviously just pretending to be asleep and didn't want to talk to her.

Yazed smiled at the woman and approached her. "I'm sorry it took me so long to get back. I hope you're not bored."

"Don't worry about that. I didn't even realize that I sat here alone for too long because I was distracted by the book I was reading." Jennelyn lied.

The smile on Yazed’s lips grew wider. He was happy because Jenny was persistent in learning how to do business right away.

"I'm sure, mom, can hear you and is pleased with your character development.
