Chapter sixty nine

Narrator's POV

Luther wore his mask, looking in the mirror.

It reminded him of the life he used to live.

He was a monster. Emily was right.

He didn't want anything more than the feeling of superiority.

He wanted to feel more like a second choice.

He put his gun away.

He didn't need a gun.

He was a hell hound.

The rest of the gang were behind, watching him.

The Boss didn't trust him. They too didn't trust him.

It was fear. They had no choice, they knew what he was.

And he was going to use it to his advantage.

He was going to force loyalty.

And he was going to get his memories.

After that he'd unleash hell on everything Emily cared about.

David was tired of waiting.

The pretty redhead receptionist came up to him and sat next to him.

"Hello", she said with a sweet smile.

He smiled. "Done with your shift? "

She played with her long hair. "Yeah. I just got off work".
