**Emily’s POV**

Alexander was like me? It was unbelievable the more I thought about it.

I hadn't heard anyone say he could use such powers aside from the werewolf powers.

But he was saying it and he wasn't even joking. I tried so hard to believe him but I couldn't.

I stared at him so hard and my eyes narrowed, awaiting him to burst out laughing.

Instead, his grey eyes twinkled.

I jumped as I heard a vibration close to me.

My eyes rounded as I glimpsed my bed levitating.

I glanced from my hand to Alexander and I was aware I wasn't the one controlling it.

He was right after all.

“I can hear people’s thoughts too.” He said.

“If you can hear people’s thoughts, how come you didn’t read mine when we first met, to know if I was a spy sent to you or not?”

“I didn’t because I was desperately trying to shut you out. You know, I didn’t want a mate, it comes with tons of vulnerability and such…” He trailed off and I noticed his eyes were distant and sad.
