Celine POV

Hurting Bryant was the last thing I'd ever wanted to do, but what could I do now that my brother is here?

"Just tell him the truth and let everything rest," You would say to me, but if only you know the kind of crazy jerk my brother is. It has been years and he was still like that. He would be mad at me for the rest of his life if he found out that I was dating Bryant.

"You can go to bed, Jake. I'll join you soon," I said to him after we had dinner and we returned to my room. I was put in a tight corner and couldn't even talk to Bryant.

"Hmm," He nodded his head and lay on the bed.

"Good night, sis," He said as he pulled the duvet to cover himself, and I briefly sighed before I made my way into the bathroom to shower and come back to bed.

I spent over twenty minutes in the bathroom, and I was stunned to find Jake seated on the bed when I walked back into my room after I left the bathroom.
